A Full-Site Festival Fit-Out
Every August Bank Holiday, Creamfields Festival takes over Daresbury Estate in Cheshire, one of the UK’s biggest and most iconic music festivals.
For this project, we delivered a full furniture and hospitality fit-out across multiple zones, helping transform open festival spaces into premium environments for guests, press, crew, and artists.
From VIP lounges and bars to backstage dressing rooms and crew areas, the brief was all about combining comfort, durability, and standout design—on a large scale.
Build & Logistics
Festival work always comes with tight timelines, and this one was no different.
- 2-day install period across multiple areas on site
- Coordinated delivery schedules into different zones
- 2-day derig following the event
- Full project management, logistics, and transport included
Working across a live festival site means everything has to be planned, timed, and executed properly—and that’s exactly what our team delivered.
Hospitality & VIP Areas
Bar & Lounge Spaces
The hospitality zones were designed to feel premium but still relaxed, somewhere guests could step away from the main arena and enjoy the experience in comfort.
We installed:
- Modular LED bar systems including straight, curved, and back bar sections
- Bottle fridges integrated into bar setups
- Large lounge areas featuring:
- White leather sofas, tub chairs, and cube seating
- LED cube seating for a modern festival feel
- Poseur tables and bar stools for social spaces
The mix of furniture created a layered layout, giving guests options to sit, stand, and socialise.
Main Lounge Areas
For more relaxed, premium seating zones, we introduced:
- Our Duke Chesterfield fabric sofas and armchairs in grey and teal finishes
- Coffee tables and complementary furniture
- Clean, spacious layouts for groups to gather
These areas balanced the energy of the festival with a more comfortable, high-end feel .
Outdoor Garden Spaces
Outdoor areas were just as important, especially during summer festival conditions.
We supplied:
- Hardwood garden tables and chairs (large quantities for scale)
- Parasols with bases for shade
- Deck chairs in multiple colours for a relaxed festival vibe
This created a versatile outdoor seating environment that worked throughout the day and into the evening .
Press & Production Areas
Press Tent
For the press area, the focus was on functionality with a clean finish:
- Rattan sofas and armchairs
- Coffee tables for working space
- Fridges and lockable storage units
A practical setup that still looked the part within the wider festival aesthetic .
Production & Crew Areas
Behind the scenes, we supported the teams that keep the festival running:
- Crew catering zones with picnic bench seating (30+ units)
- Production cabin furniture including armchairs, tables, and lighting
- Hand wash units installed for hygiene and compliance
These areas are just as important, ensuring staff and crew have comfortable, functional spaces to work from.
Artist & Backstage Areas
Artist Dressing Rooms
We provided a large number of fully equipped dressing room packages, including:
- Sofas, armchairs, and coffee tables
- Make-up mirrors and garment rails
- Rugs, lighting, and finishing touches
Including:
- 24 standard dressing room setups
- 2 headliner dressing rooms with upgraded furniture
Everything designed to give artists a comfortable, private space to prepare and relax.
VIP Bar & Artist Zones
In the artist bar and VIP areas, we stepped things up with more premium finishes:
- Black leather Chesterfield sofas and armchairs
- Bespoke bar setups with high tables and stools
- Drinks fridges and lounge furniture
- Additional features like beanbags and games (table football & table tennis)
These spaces created a more exclusive, high-end environment within the festival .
Artist Garden & Catering
We also built out:
- Artist garden areas with rattan furniture and parasols
- Catering spaces with bistro tables and seating
- Heating solutions and gas bottles for comfort in changing weather
Giving performers a place to step away and recharge between sets .
