I am sorry to say it is not legally compulsory for psychics to be tested or have any sort of proof they can help you with clairvoyance before they ask you for money. Even if someone offers to do you a totally free sitting they ought to have some sort of proof that they are genuine first as sittings full of fairy stories and untruths mislead people into trusting the wrong people and choosing the wrong path forwards.
It is easy to do readings for friends and have them tell you how good you are. If the readings are free or they are friends what else will they say? But it was important for me to be tested by experts, people I do not know, and prove to myself that I am a genuine web clairvoyant psychic. Not just wanting a more exciting life, praise, a pat on the back, fame or wanting to stand out from the crowd at the expense of unsuspecting victims. With this in mind I asked The British Astrological & Psychic Society to test me. They did. They all gave me the thumbs up.
As for the idea that fakes pretend to be clairvoyant to get money, yes that happens. With people who are not educated or skilled, unable to get a good job elsewhere. I’ve come across a lot of older ladies over the years who get fed up with working as a cleaner or find it too difficult now they are older and not as fit, who suddenly decide they will be clairvoyants, psychics or tarot readers – yet have no interest in the subject, no knowledge of the subject, and no genuine concern for their potential clients. They are only drawn to it by the money. They would run a mile at the thought of proving themselves.
Most who call themselves clairvoyants, mediums, tarot card readers etc will tell you there are no tests they can take. Just showing you how little they know about the work they do. Or insist they do not need to be tested because they know for a fact they are good. How arrogant is that? A genuine person would care more about their clients and make sure they are as good as they like to think they are before offering to “help” them.
